This shot was taken during a visit to one of my favourite photo destinations, Vence, near Nice, in the south of France. Towns like this are great for photographers as there is so much variety in the type of image you can create. This particular photo as taken from a narrow alleyway, the buildings aren’t really that tall.

But this gives the impression of them being huge. I love the fact that many of these towns have not changed in hundreds of years. Vence is a tourist destination but it is not too busy and gives plenty of opportunity to take photos like this.
